APA dissertation/thesis will not seem difficult for you to write, if you pick a worthy topic for the investigation. In this article I would not like to discuss those tedious requirements for APA dissertation/thesis. If you have any doubts on the format requirement, it is better to find specific manual.

In this article we would like to discuss a topic of your APA dissertation/thesis. Particularly this article would be useful for those writing their works in history. This time we will provide you with some information on the knighthood.

Do you know something about it? Are you aware of the knights’ traditions and some special ceremonies? Let us talk, for instance about the ceremony of accolade.

Actually, it was one of the most important ceremonies in the times of knighthood. After accolade a man turned into real knight. From the early years the boys were getting prepared to be the knights.

At the age of 7 or 8 little boys were taught different manners, obedience and some other necessary skills. At the age of 12-14 a boy could be an apprentice of a knight. They were taught some fighting techniques, could hunt with the knights.

At the age of 21 a young man could be bestowed the accolade. The ceremony itself was really solemn with a king or a queen participating. A future knight was standing on his knees in front of the monarch. The monarch with a sword in his hand touched with a flat side of the sword the right shoulder of the knight first, then the left one. After that the knight stood up and took the order to which he was appointed from the hands of the monarch.

Is not this topic amazing? Is not it interesting to investigate those old, forgotten traditions of the times when the real men were living?
